The world is too much with us
The world is too much with us,late and soon,
Getting and spending,we lay waste our powers:
Little we see in Nature that is ours;
We have given our hearts away,a sordid boon!
This Sea that bares her bosom to the moon;
The winds that will be howling to the moon;
The winds that will be howling at all hours,
And are up-gathered now like sleeping flowers.
For this,for everything,we are out of tune;
It moves us not.—great god!I’d rather be
A pagan suckled in a creed outworn;
So might I,standing on this pleasant lea,
Have glimpses that would make me less forlorn;
Have sight of Proteus rising from the sea;
Or hear old Triton blow his wreathed horn.

得到又失去着,我们软倒浪费着力量;
崇高的自然与我们已近于格格不入;
这大海,正向月亮袒露胸襟;
还在紧紧相拥着,像一束熟睡的花儿;
对于这,对于任何事情,我们成了破坏和谐的杂音;
沉醉于前世,做一名异教的圣徒;
所见所闻让我丧失些许弃儿的心痛;
看着海神从他的领地升起;
